Arriving by road - from M4

Leave the motorway at Junction 18 and follow signs for Bath A46 After about 4 miles you will descend a long hill on a dual carriageway, and take the left lane, sign posted to Bath At the roundabout take the 3rd. exit towards Bath A4

Continue for one mile passing through several sets of traffic and pedestrian lights. Beware of the bus lane as you approach the outskirts of the city. Following signs for Hospital A&E and Long Stay parking.

Go straight on through the traffic lights (Morrisons supermarket on your left) At the next set of traffic lights again go straight ahead. DO NOT turn left at these lights although the signpost directs all through traffic to do so.

After about 200 yards you will come to a mini roundabout, take the second exit along Paragon Buildings. Continue on to the next set of traffic lights and keep to the left-hand lane Go straight ahead through the lights passing the Royal York Hotel on your left. Proceed to the end of the road (George Street) until you are forced to go left. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights;: you are now in Queen Square.

Go round THREE sides of the Square and exit onto Charlotte Street (signs for Long Term Car Park) Continue to the end of Charlotte Street...about 300 hundred yards...and join the Upper Bristol Road. Royal Park Guest House will be found some 350 yards along this road on the right hand side. We are near the pedestrian crossing, opposite the Mr D's.

Arriving by road - from Salisbury and Warminster

Follow the signs into Bath on the A36. As you approach the city you will eventually descend a hill, approaching some traffic light, bear right here. You will then approach a second set of lights, bear right again (towards Chippenham and the A4 ) Continue for about a quarter of a mile passing the Fire Station and Ambulance station on your right. Go over the river and turn off left just before the traffic lights.

Arriving by road - from Bristol and Wells
Follow signs for Bath A4. After a short length of Dual Carriageway follow signs for Bath A4 taking the left turning when signposting offers you Bath City either straight ahead or left. You are now on the Newbridge Road. Continue straight on until you come to a "T" junction controlled by traffic lights. (there is a cemetery and public toilets straight ahead of you)Keep straight ahead. Go straight ahead at the next set of traffic lights and after about 400 hundred yards you will pass a children's playground on your left. Continue on passing the Hinton Vauxhall garage on your right. Royal Park Guest House is approx 150 yards further on the left hand side.
Arriving by plane - Heathrow Airport
The fastest way is to take the "Heathrow Express" to Paddington, from where Intercity trains run to Bath. Less expensive and only slightly slower is the coach link to Reading station, from where you can catch the Bath Intercity. Even cheaper, but slower (approx. 2 hours 30 mins) is the National Express coach link to Bath. Coaches depart from the "Central Bus Station" between Terminals 1, 2 and 3 (follow signs at Heathrow) or let us arrange a taxi for you.
Arriving by plane - Other London Airports
Take a train to London and make your way to Paddington station by underground. Intercity trains to Bath run frequently. Or take one of the link coaches travelling to Heathrow and change at the Central Bus Station as above.
